The gaming server (Tron) was formatted and has had everything reinstalled on it as of yesterday. (Thanks to Nickname for getting it formatted!)

After it was brought back up, we made a few changes as to the running of the games.

Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, and Team Fortress 2 were all completely reinstalled and updated.

 We have also added a second Team Fortress 2 server. This server will be 24/7 pl_goldrush and cp_dustbowl.

Everyone come on out to our end of year cookout, slated to be held at the WCU Picnic area (behind the softball field / Norton) on May 3rd from 12PM - whenever. We will be holding a meeting during the cookout so bring your ideas with you! More information can be found here

The next WCU Gaming LAN event will be held Saturday, April 12 in the UC Grandroom. Doors open at Noon, and the tournaments will start at 2:00 PM

PC Tournaments include:
Quake 3 Arena, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4, Counter-Strike Source

Console Tournaments include:
Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Wii Bowling, Mario Kart 64, and Halo 3

There will be free-play events and door prizes. The cost of attendance is $5.00 to play and $3.00 to spectate. This price includes food and drinks.

We are holding a meeting on March 13th @ 9:00 PM, Catamount Room in the UC.

We will be holding elections for Vice President (club), Vice President (consoles), and Treasurer, if you already hold a position you can run for one of these instead, if you get it then we will hold elections for your old position.

Most likely we will be talking about LAN stuff too, we probably won’t be going as far as voting stuff in but I think we should definitely talk about it. Consoles I want to hear from you on what your thinking as well. This is a new dawn as some may say to this club, if you want to know how I think or my ideas I suggest you show up and ask me at the meeting!
