Bitey Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 So yeah, we are going to do a cookout for the club, if people can list out what you can bring that would be great, I don't mind using a few bucks from what we made at the LAN to purchase burgers and hotdogs, you know, whatever else we need, so start doing that. Also, for the meeting lets start up some ideas and discussions that we can talk about at the meeting, like club t-shirts, and some of the other things we have started and said we would get done after the LAN. Lastly, I know this is close to exams but its the weekend before so unless you just really need to cram, please come out and relax with us for a while, get your mind off those tests for a little bit and just enjoy some good food and good company, hope to see everyone there! Also we are going to have elections for new Council Leader's for, CoD4 and CSS, these positions will run from summer until the end of Fall semester. pyro urban Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 go get sponsored by like monster and dominos or pizzahut. and renew your bawls sponsorship and whatever else you have. anything local you have. and if you guys help out other clubs with some extra money you have left over from lans or whatever, they may be willing to help you guys. help the home ec club and maybe they'll bake some food for you guys. make little shirts with logos and put them on stuffed bears, sell and give those away to advertise. napkins get thrown away more than bears. bake sales DO work. making hats and other clothes with your logo on them is also good. or have some kind of competitions on the pc's gaming consoles or any games you guys have, like air hockey or pool. people pay to enter and the top 3 get prizes. poker night. 30 people playing for the club against 10-20 random people is more chances for the gaming club to win some money. fundraisers. bring in the things people loved as kids. call in famous people and pay them to throw a concert, be at an event, or something. if rihanna or nickelback or will smith or someone big came, then even people who don't want to be involved in the club would come. up and coming artists work well too because a college is big with lots of people and they gain fans and publicity and don't cost as much. and i made t shirts before which i uploaded but idk what you guys did with it. i still have them if wanted. anything i can help the club with from 10 hours away i can try to do =) i have no finals till june so im ok. wish i could come to the pic-a-nics sometime =/ I H@Z T3H 733T ID3@$ =) Quote

That was the first post in a month that forced me to slow down while reading to understand. GG If we print them, they'll toss them in the trash. If Reslife prints them they'll at least make it to the RAs, then get tossed in the trash. Just print a crapton and the execs can hang them up, at least that way it bypasses 2 trashcan entry points.
