I attend events at a LARP called Avalon. if anyone else does something similar you can post it in here and if someone starts being derogatory or starts to be stupid about it I wont hesitate to delete your post.

The reason is I have been getting my game fix from board games. Euro games, to be exact. I'm not talking about Monopoly here, but real games that actually require skill and strategy. If you are ever interested, check out boardgamegeek.com. The best games are the ones rated at the top, but specifically I recommend Dominion, Pandemic, Agricola, Carcassonne, Power Grid, 1960: The Making of the President, and Race for the Galaxy. Those are pretty *edited* good games.

 

I am also starting to join some local strategy gaming groups here in the triangle; one that meets every tuesday night in cary and one that meets every 3rd friday of the month in Durham. If anyone is in the area and wants to join up, let me know, or I would also be more than willing to teach these games if anyone wants.

I thought free = crappy but not in this case. Looking for some friends to play co-op with. Also, if you play tf2, then you get a new hat just for playing the game and completing 2 missions.
