MasterP Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 he purposely didnt play UT2k4 so he wouldnt sweep all the games lol This is true, last time it came down to me and Chupa in UT2k4 and he's just as good there as CoD4 and CSS. Quote

Ashley Faulkner Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 72 people to attend a LAN Event=not bad...good job execs. As always keep striving to be better and bigger, but you're obviously still doing somethings right, because people showed! Quote
MasterP Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 PC section was non-existant. We need to find out why they aren't coming and give them a kick in the pants. Quote
Nickname Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 PC section was non-existant. We need to find out why they aren't coming and give them a kick in the pants. yeah, less than 30 PC players. Quote
Ephraim Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 The date was a bit unfortunate, what with some other events taking place at the same time. Even though the turnout was smaller than usual, it was still a lot of fun. Quote
lootool Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 yeah..I think a lot of people had unusual circumstances as to why they couldnt make it..and most of those people were PC players..I know of a handful of CSers that didnt come cuz 1.6 was not a tourney..even some from out of state to add to that...LooT. Quote
lootool Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 How many have we been bringing in lately??? Loot. Quote
MasterP Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 The date shouldn't matter because it was almost as bad at the last LAN. We are doing something fundamentally wrong, either in advertisement or retainment and blamming the date isn't going to help with either. Quote
Ephraim Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 There was a serious lack of fliers this last time. I heard there was some sort of problem with printing. Quote
Ashley Faulkner Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Let's work together to better the situation and not point any fingers. This time lets make sure that if we elect someone for the Marketing Administrator position they FULLY understand the time requirements needed. Either way, come on exec's lets pull our weight to make sure that the club continues to prosper. Quote
Nalgenie Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 There was a serious lack of fliers this last time. I heard there was some sort of problem with printing. yeah there was an issue with printing. It's called there were 2 home football games during the time that I was trying to print them. I can't stop the printing of football programs for flyers. I did my best to get some printed and almost got fired for printing them. For future: we don't have to have the games listed on all the flyers. we could have some generic flyers to post early then after the games are official we can post more. Quote
Bitey Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 For some reason, I feel like we are not doing anything wrong, it seems to me that some of this has to do with apathy, we are no the only club with dwindling members and community, the theater group University Players also has had a huge drop in members that attend meetings. So to me it either seems that it is apathy or maybe some people just don't like having to haul their computer? Just throwing out ideas because I don't feel like it is something we have been doing wrong, because we are doing the same thing that has been done since the beginning, I know that consoles are successful because they have such a die-hard community right now. Quote
Nickname Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 or maybe some people just don't like having to haul their computer? ding ding ding. I think we have a winner. Quote
