Find someone's steamID after they have left the server

1. Bring up your friends list.

 

2. Click "Players" tab up top, then click "Player list - recent games"

 

3. Find their name on the list and click the "steamID page" link beside there name

 

4. Copy their steam profile number from the address bar (the long number at the end that starts with 7656119)

 

5. Go to http://vacbanned.com

 

6. Paste their Steam Profile Number into the search box in the upper left corner and click "Check"

 

7. It will then show you their steamid

unfortunately, sometimes, they don't play under the same name as their steamid is...

I know that may be more of the case for css and cs1.6 but for tf2 you cannot change it.

If they just left the server, for 1.6 there's a command to see the IDs and IPs of people who just left (the last 10 people). It's amx_last.

 

I don't know if sauce has the same or similar command.
