[Rules]

 

1. No cheating (aimbotting, ghosting, walling, norecoil, nospread, ESP, etc.)

2. No racism, sexism, religious defamation, trolling, vulgarities, offensive names, etc. will be tolerated.

3. No spamming voicecom, say, or teamsay. (this includes spamming "RTV")

4. Map exploits are not allowed (examples: sky-walking, boosting through floors, leaving the play area of the map, illegal flashing)

5. Do not argue with admins.

6. Porn or shock-imagery sprays are not allowed.

7. Pursue the objectives or risk being slayed.

8. Bunny hopping, crouch running, and crouch walking are not allowed.

9. Do not rejoin teams for money.

10. Intentional team and clan stacking will not be tolerated.

11. Do not evade the team balancer.

12. Do not fire into the opposing team's spawn within the first three seconds of a round in any manner that prevents players from being able to leave spawn(ie. awp_dust/map and scoutzknivez)

13. Be courteous to all players in our server, not just admins. This includes being being overly loud, rowdy, excessive taunting, bad sportsmanship, etc. If you are making the server unplayable, our admins are welcome to remove you.

14. On Specialty maps, such as awp and aim maps, buying is not allowed. Only Primary Weapons provided, and a pistol are permitted.

15. These rules are not ultimate, if we see something offensive, inappropriate, sketchy, or otherwise unorthodox we may require the remedy of them.

 

[Punishment]

 

> Any violation of these rules may result in a slap, slay, kick, mute, ban hammer, or other more entertaining form of punishment at the discretion of the admins, in line with the suggestions posted here.

> If the violation is a repeated offense or severe enough, a player may be banned from playing on WCU servers.

> If a player is issued a permanent ban (permaban) he or she may dispute the ban on the WCU forums.

> If you are banned, please wait 24 hours before posting on our forums. This is to ensure that non-permabanned players do not contest non-disputable bans.

> Any banned player has 7 days to appeal the ban. After that, they may not appeal unless is a special circumstance (must be really special)

 

[Help/Admin Abuse]

 

> If no administrator is present at the time you are playing and you require assistance, please join the WCU IRC channel and ask for help. The instructions for doing so are posted in our forums, or on our home page in the top right corner there is a link to a java IRC client that will connect you.

> If you fell you are the victim of admin abuse, or think you saw an admin abusing power, please post a thread concerning this on the WCU forums or PM adam37 directly. Also, if you have or can get them, demos and screenshots are helpful in reviewing these things.

 

[Demoing]

> You may record a demo if you suspect a player or admin of breaking the rules, and this would actually be much appreciated. If your demo conclusively shows the rules being broken, appropriate action will be taken. These rules will be updated as issues arise and many are left to the admins discretion. If there are any issues or questions involving the server rules please contact any admin or executive and they will be happy to help.

first time ive actually read all of these server rules, makes sense if you get banned or kicked for arguing with admins but some admins abuse this a little to much by just gagging to soon and makes people leave server

There is a gray area between taunting and overall harassment to an admin. There is no real way to define what is and is not arguing with admins. I rarely see the admins actually getting into a fight online with people on the server, the most common occurrence I see this rule being enforced is with pub-stars complaining about the bunny hopping, crouch running rules.

Thought that was already a rule, or at least I know that we would put people in "unreachable" places and un-get outtable places when they did that. Or just drop them from the top of the map, either way....good times.

Hmm, we don't slay the entire team for stuff (I don't think we even have access to that command), so yeah, it would only be the person who had it and dropped it in a stupid spot. If I don't see the guy doing it myself, someone will usually complain about it -- unless the guy spawned with the bomb a bunch of times or he kept picking it up and throwing it somewhere and everyone notices. (btw if someone is complaining about someone, don't always base your actions on what others say -- check for yourself!).

 

For pretty much everything that doesn't warrant an immediate ban, I warn and if he continues, slay (and kick or tempban if it gets to that point).

I say, if it warrants a slay in your opinion, go for it. I trust you all with your admin. If the person you slay has a problem with it, let me know.

I think the crouch/run/bhop issue needs clarification. It is clear watching some people's player-models that they haev some sort of hack. Often it isn't quite "running", but it does speed up movement and I've had people argue about it. It IS a grey area. I personally dislike it.

 

Maybe the rule against crouch running should be worded "No movement-hacks of any kind are allowed."

 

This would make it crystal clear that anything other than a standard crouch, walk, or run is illegal.

I think people argue, when you call it a hack; that might confuse someone...

In the current leagues They, are all legal(Exploits)

"We" don't permit it for the pure reason they are exploits....

 

We Really don't need to make it any Clearer,

"They" Know what it is,
