That makes them starting the season 3-0 for the first time since 1997. bSecond I watched the VT game last night and OMG F.ING AWESOME. BTW, awesome football weekend: UNC beats ECU VT has amazing win over Nebraska USC gets upset (I hate USC) Panthers only kinda sucked on Sunday, and Delhomme had less than 5 interceptions, which makes it a good weekend! Steelers get beat... lol Patriots get beat... lol LIONS KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE and Dallas getting beaten in the opening day at their new stadium... in front of the largest NFL crowd in history and many celebs. All in all, great football weekend.

Nickname Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 You both do realize that Delhomme was not the reason the Panthers lost Sunday right? Their defense was TERRIBLE. Delhomme threw for over 300 yards... still doesn't make up for the 2 prior games but this time it wasnt his fault. Also they aren't going to get rid of him Their backups are terrible and they just resigned him for 5 years with 20 million guaranteed... they will make sure they get their money's worth.

Note I said 6, after the way he threw interceptions seemingly on purpose during their last postseason game last season I almost rq'd being a panther fan. During the pre-season games they played a QB that actually looked really good. Can't remember who it was but he did better than Delhomme did when they pulled him out to activate rape-mode towards the end of the game.
