Nickname Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 found this online yesterday; basically you check the programs you want and it makes a script which automatically downloads and installs all the programs you selected, which is very nice and time-saving. http://ninite.com/ enjoy. Quote
MasterP Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Sexy find. If integrated into the post-install section using a slipstream this could most definately produce massive amounts of win. Too bad where I currently work would never let me do that. Or use the program at all... Quote
rcon_l@nce Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 I saw that post on Gizmodo yesterday... Already used it on my Windows 7 install, it works really well =) Quote
Phonetically Phamous (dice Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Is this wise to use on machines which "may" be infected? Quote
Nickname Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 I mean it wont hurt... it really just downloads the installers for those programs and auto installs them using the default settings... no different than you downloading/installing the computer yourself except this way is faster (cause its automated) I have been using it at work today to install firefox, thunderbird, adobe reader, flash, java, silverlight, and .net on new windows 7 installs and it takes less than 5 mins total.
