If a game ends in a tie with Bowser's Koopa Klaw, Bowser is declared the winner. Before the first game of a match, either player can call for double-blind character selection. Before any game except the first game of a match, the winner of the previous game can change his or her character, after they change or decide they are not changing, the loser of the previous game can change his or her character. Stalling is not allowed. During the first game of a match, Random stage is selected. Before any game except the first game of a match, the loser of the previous game can pick the stage from the "Starter" or "Counter" stage lists. Any disagreement on controller ports will be settled through Rock Paper Scissors, a die roll, or coin flip. If a player wins on a stage, that player cannot select that stage for the rest of the match. Legal controllers are Wiimote w/ Nunchuck, Wiimote w/ Classic, and Gamecube. The Wiimote without the Nunchuck or Classic is not allowed.
