so after poking around on the website, i was considering trying it but it was insistent on me paying 30 dollars so i dunno :/

Yeah, they keep advertising that you can pre-purchase it, but you don't have to.

truth be told I dont think they are ever gonna like release the game. Its a fun game it really is but its dota....with a better interface. I dont think it looks that much better. At any rate its just pre purchase but its in open beta so you can make an account and still play. When you log in every time though it asks you if you wanna pre purchase.

Think I'll wait for SC2, HoN looks like a *edited*ty version of the originally SC. Besides, my room mate played HoN beta, and he ruined it for me.

I think HoN's graphics are better than those in a 12-year-old (but still awesome) game.

I'm not sure about HoN, but LoL sometimes has problems, so there's sometimes some unscheduled downtime. But I deal with it cuz I'm addicted. :[

LoL is bad....you cant deny and the hold button doesnt work...you dont attack for a whole half a second then you go right back to attacking...last hitting is near impossible because of it and i dont think there is denying of creeps...plus the graphics are just bad....

If you don't know how to last hit on LoL, you fail.

 

There isn't any denying of creeps. Unfortunate to some, but I don't mind either way.

Denying of creeps takes skill and is a very big part of the game....I liked being 2 levels higher then the other guys in my lane because im just to good an denying. Yet another reason LoL sucks...That and the heros are um well they just suck. I see huge balance issues.

They are constantly buffing and nerfing heroes. And you can still be two lvls higher than the other guys -- don't suck and kill them.
