everyone is in it to have fun if someone had the means to counterfeit our coins they probably would already be helping tim make them. malicious personalities don't last long.

 

if someone did manage to INC( in character) counterfeit and get caught then mitch's answer would be appropriate but i dont think you can do that.

 

 

ill post pics of the coins later and you will see its not that easy to copy. and if someone did, most of the INC thieves(myself included) would know right away by the sound it would make hitting the floor.

yea took it with my phone but you can get the point with the coins. the one that looks like a copper really isnt. its the reverse side of the silver(the "tails" side is the same on all three coins). I actually dont have a copper right now but its the same size as the silver with the look and feel of a penny and it has a harp on the "heads" side. some people call the different coins Harp, Sheild and Dragon.

wow i had no idea it was so involved. actually sounds kinda cool now, or at least legit.

yea this game has been around since i think 97. its a living thing so there are patches to the rules every now and then but the basics stay the same. the only thing that turns people away is that after your first event(which is free) there is a $25 charter fee to the BSA and it is $50 per normal event. that does include food, renting the camp for the weekend, and other necessities. its really actually worth the price.

going in the morning to travel to North Virgina to go to the other chapter of this same larp for the first time. is supposedly a "more civilized place" meaning ill probably not get away with stealing as much as I do at the NC chapter. all in character of course...

If it's premeditated you go get staff before you do it and they will probably go with you. if its a theft of opportunity then you find staff asap after the fact. you have to hide the prop and tag(together) for the rest of the event. at the end you give the prop back to staff and keep the tag. the prop is then returned to the owner. so far all I have stolen is coin because people like to leave their pouches open.

 

if you get caught stealing someones OOC stuff they you get banned from the game and the popo is called

oh I miss read your post I thought you asked WHAT is the result. and no it wasnt he OOC i know he killed me to go into a more powerful form that you have to eat someone to use. inc all i know is he jumped behind me and everything went dark. then I woke up in the earth circle.

Aha, well that sucks! I am checking into a LARP that is closer to my area, they have events in the Kings Mountain Area, and they are known as solarinc.

Ill be gone From this friday morning until Sunday night. Im attending one of the two Huge events we have each year. upwards of 150 people and LOTS of death. there is a good chance my character will Perm(die for good). hopefully that wont happen but it might.

Oww.... Owww ... pain... Larping= fun but Larping also = sore as crap... running the entire 2days and those who know me know im not a runner. it was worth it though got a lot of Plot that I wanted and got to assassinate some big *edited*.

OMG I just realized how brilliant LARPing could potentially be, it's like a work-out for fatties that are also nerdies and out of shape! You hear it guys, do a couple of sessions of LARPing and you will be shocked to feel your own rippling abs begin to appear! I wanna be the marketing manager for LARP!
