JShank Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 all in all it was an OK LAN but i was disappointed in the fact that we got delayed in the console tournaments due to people getting upset and leaving after they lost, thus having to take their equipment with them. I know we didn't really expect this to happen, but i think from now on we need to expect the unexpected. Maybe try and find a way to invest in extra supplies for something like this even though that is a Lil difficult due to the funding you guys have at the gaming club. I will be helping Matt Wiard aka Waffle in his quest to find more sponsors for the club, so hopefully one day we can have these supplies for the upcoming lans. Quote

If you can't depend on them to stay you're better off planning to not even have their equipment to begin with. The club doesn't need to be buying controllers and expensive stuff, most of that could be borrowed from more reliable, aka less childish, people. Quote

With what games you plan on playing, and what equipment you can bring. Id even give a 2$ discount to those that bring a console, tv, one or both of the games going to be played on that console, and a controller. Id cover the difference in cost, and of course they would have to have their stuff there the whole time. Quote
