MasterP 0
The idle server was full most of the time so I added another one and it was full within 30 mins. Added a 3rd and it was full within an hour. So now I'm adding a 4th. They use no cpu or drive i/o so they're essentially free. 152.30.192.240:27050 WcuGaming.org Idle Server #1 152.30.192.240:27052 WcuGaming.org Idle Server #2 152.30.192.240:27056 WcuGaming.org Idle Server #3 152.30.192.240:27058 WcuGaming.org Idle Server #

FelixNova 0
After being on the idle servers for a bit, its not that bad, there are actually SOME active people on there using for a small (very small) achievement server, but I would like to find out what has gone wrong with the tf2 pub servers and get all 3 of them up an running on a CP, PL, and CTF rotation. I've been studying how to add new TF2 servers and trying to get them to work but I never got guidance on the intricacies of the server. Can anyone help me? Yes, I have tried this many times before, but deleted the added entries soon after trying to get them to work for fear of affecting the other servers.
MasterP 0
Our TF2 idles can be alot of fun if you get the right crowd in there. If you can wait until the end of the week I can redo the pubs from scratch and set them up for multi-instancing so they'll be more consistent, all you'd need to do is PM me a mapcycle for each you wanted. MajorMajorMajor 0
GL getting new TF2 servers going. You can have all the servers in the world, but if you don't have people on them every day keeping them going or starting them once they are empty, they are doomed to fail. Not much TF2 community here at WCU either. I would gander there is a higher chance of getting 1.6 going again rather than TF2. I see at least 10 of the old regulars on at random times of the day each day. That being said, if you guys get a PL/PLR server going, I will help populate it. Only thing I play outside DiG. If its just a question of making them more fun, I suggest trying a different idle map. There are more with bigger arenas, things to do, and glitches to exploit. AMerrill 0
The beginning intention was to attract players with AN idle server and eventually have them check out the site and the main tf2 server. However, the main server ended up exanimated from lack of support. I kept the idle server going for a while just for *edited*s and it has evolved into what it is now. The tf2 side needs an active leader to resurrect the original server and keep up with it, more specifically with all the updates. The tf2 community is large especially since it is a f2p game but you have to ensure that you keep it up to date and running in order to keep a substantial population.
