I played for several hours last night. It's obviously got some bugs, but overall, I'm definitely satisfied with it and intrigued by the small little details in combat.

It says I require my Nvidia card to have the minimum version of 285.27, but I'm stuck with 270.61! phooey.

Perhaps I will download the beta off of PSN. I'm pretty sure I'll mostly be playing MW3 when it comes out over any other FPS.

It's been estimated that the combined sum of the unfriendly PC decisions will cost them ~400,000 sales. Sad, really. It could have easily beaten MW3, now it won't.

That's only true because a lot of pc cod players have switched to consoles for the same reason... Activision was *edited*ty towards pc players removing dedicated servers.

 

Dedicated servers are back in MW3 PC edition.

To be perfectly honest I'm surprised it took EA as long as it did to corrupt the Battlefield series. They and Activision both screw over almost everything they touch.

Eh, they'll figure it out when idiots stop buying (or even pirating) their product. Seems to me that EA / Activision and probably other publishers as well have put so much stock into console and even casual gamers as of late that they've lost touch with the original PC gamers.
