I'll put up a TS2 server for you guys. On Simpwebs box:P

EDIT: Unless Adam --- or anybody can figure out how to use Mumble/Murmur. I've tried Mumble (the client, and the voice quality is *edited* near perfect), but I can't get Murmur (its server) to work for *edited*, but for the time being, I'll setup a teamspeak.

EDIT #2: 66.96.251.172:1007

No password (yet), and I'm not sure what channels you want as well. I'll be connected if somebody who matters wants to connect, get admin, and make channels.

I do believe I said Teamspeak was free-er a long time ago.

We could very easily host this on TRON with almost no additional load. If you want I could install it and give you two superadmin and let you configure it how you want.

Server is up at gaming.wcu.edu. Since it's on the default port you don't have to even put one in.

I have created the same channels as the simpweb had for the club, plus a few extras.

Raven: Teamspeak's free-use license only allows for 1000 slots per physical server. If you allow for more than that you have to register it and pay licensing fees, whether the slots are used or not. Something to keep in mind.

Orly?

Meh. lol

All the same though, I would STRONGLY suggest using Mumble/Murmur. The voice quality trumps Teamspeak, and bandwidth usage trumps vent. If I personally could get a mumble server to run, I'd be using it as well.

Mumble is many times more complex than TS and doesn't come with the administration features that TS does without jumping through additional hoops.

It sounds better than TS because it uses Speex 45 which their own site says doesn't sound much better than Speex 25. It uses less bandwidth than Vent because Vent uses GSM which is terrible in that regard.

It just seems like alot more of a hassle with alot less benefit. The voice quality isn't realisticly inferior and on a 100Mbit unmetered connection bandwidth doesn't really matter.

Doesn't sound much better!? I have to assume that whoever honestly believes that is a little whacko.
