Next LAN?

why are the LAN events so spread apart? i say we have more events more frequently. why not this coming weekend?

yea there are prizes to be shipped and all sorts of other kind of things, but it would be nice to just have random lan parties but kept within the gaming club ppl

There was an idea for console players to work on doing that next semester. To hold it in a couple rooms in a dorm or something of that nature.

i rember alot of people laning it up in abomb room.. just as fun oubbing it up all together, maby its something to look into to being the admin community closer together.

It'd be good for bringing the whole entire community closer together. Not just admins, but granted, you can have your own secret parties.

some small console lan's will be happening. We cna have it at Dana's house. He offered to have one so we will do our best to have one. Consoles FTW!!!

Do you guys know that you can get Belk 358 or Forsyth 3something or other for PC's if you want to do a smaller LAN. I would suggest not advertising those smaller LANs, and instead use them as a bonding experience to help bring the execs and council leaders together, more of a team building experience.

 

Yes Adam and I hosted many smaller I guess LAN tourneys in my room. Man I remember almost every weekend having NoDice, Loot, and GXTI over all gaming or doing something for the club. And back in the day Adambomb and AMerrill would literally stay up all weekend playing in my room or AMerrills room and designing flyers and stuff. (I didn't get much sleep back then) Adam liked getting the exec's together and working on various things. It is good to get people together for unofficial things. Of course it is easier to do when you have more space to do something like that, and of course multiple computers and a router.

 

Think about asking Mike Klatt (aka Nukedude) about using his house for a smaller LAN, bring beer or something or offer food or anything, don't use him, but his house would be good for small LAN's. Just a suggestion. BTW, he has almost every console ever made plus lots of games, ranging from the original NES to the 360, don't think he has a WII yet or a PS3, or at least he didn't in February.
