Lan flyers/banner

i haven't seen any up lower campus, just curious

wheres the banner at?

I sincerely hope you are joking...2days before the LAN and no flyers or Banner. I am very disappointed in the Marketing Admin!

Erm, lower campus as in Walker and Scott and all those?

 

We (Flakes, Myself, and Co) went around a put some in each hall of Scott and all the exits. Walker got a few. FPAC has a couple on the exits followed by Belk, Leatherwood, Dodson, and the UC. I think there are supposed to be a few on light poles and such but I didnt look to see if they are still there.

 

Unless you mean lower as in Norton and stuff, in which case I havent a clue.

I got flyers in the Benton side of AB, the AB lobby, handed them to a Harrill resident to put in harrill's lobby, handed them to a Central RA to put in Central's lobby, handed them to a Buchanan RA to put in Buchanan's lobby, then put a few in Reynolds and ran out. I had to go through RA's and the one resident at Harrill, because none of the RA's would let me in to put them up. Especially the one in Harrill...

indeed, i guess we just need something more eye catching... "i" haven't "seen" anything around Lwood/dotson/UC/and belk

We put them up all around lower campus =/. For LWood we put them on the doors going in since we couldn't get into the dorm itself. The UC has them in the flier holder on the entrances but other than that we weren't allowed to put them elsewhere. We put them on the entrance to the UC coming in from Coulter but were probably taken down. The ones in Dodson I KNOW have been taken down already. There are still some all around the bell tower as well as on miscellaneous light poles. Scott was plastered, we put them on all of the floors by the elevators and some floors up and down the actual halls themselves.

 

I don't know about the banner though =/

Well hopefully someone did get the banner put up. Have you guys thought about getting put on the scrolling banner at the Light? It is easy, just fill out a form at the information desk in the UC and they add it. It is really cool to see WCU Gaming Club LAN event scrolling across the board like all the other important information! I beleive Adam had it added to the board for last septembers LAN.

just got back from lunch and i did notice a flyer on the bell tower now that i was "looking for them" but to get people to read them they need to be eye catching... .02

 

i would like for when people check in to pay, ask them how they found out about our club and if they saw any flyers.

It was cut off mid last year and has a banner over it this year. It won't be coming back anytime soon.

 

I haven't seen a single poster yet but KNOW they were put up because I saw people doing it. The RAs and Aramark ppl took them down, plain and simple. Nothing can really be done at this point but hope word got out before they were taken down.

this is the stuff that gets noticed,got to think outside the box... i think everyone on campus saw the bflyers loot and i hung the past few events... maybe we just have good flyer hanging skills idk..?

 

 

Maybe we need to run something smaller and give to the mail ppl to put in everyone mail box... simple enough...

I'm a junior now, so two years ago. It always seemed to be out of date, then off, then it was covered.

We plastered them everywhere they would allow us to and everywhere we could down on lower campus.

Pretty much the day after the fact most of the fliers one could find outside or on doorways had been torn down. That's not really the fault of the people who placed them. I don't know about in the actual dorms themselves, though.
