pyro urban Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 custom with a rotation. if it was a vote we wouldn't get more than 4 maps played, i suggest a rotation of about 10-15 good maps. i have a few suggestions of course. also anyone wanna unban me from this server and give me admin? =) i never played on it but im banned lol.
Inactiveness Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 i've only played on the GG server a couple of times, so i don't know what kind of traffic it sees, but i think there's an obvious problem with map rotation on the main server. Therefore, why not change this server to a rotation of the most popular maps played on the main one? just a dust2/aztec/inferno/whatever you want rotation.
Phonetically Phamous (dice Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 not a bad idea make the "official" server have the top 5-6maps so its high ranking and brings prospective students and gets teh name out their and have the other have some less populer but official maps as well as some of the more populer custom maps. Â but this is only if we are getting a GGS server, b/c WCUG needs a GG server as long as dice is attending

It may need an overhaul which I would be more than happy to take care of later. We also have to keep Tron's current situation in mind. Once everything is sorted out with the server, that my fix some problems.
