newrayz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) okay this is pretty interesting. read a 2008 article which said this: So far only two classes have been revealed for Diablo III, the Barbarian, which returns from Diablo II, and the Witch Doctor, a brand new class. Blizzard has already confirmed that no other classes from Diablo or Diablo II will make it into the third game. Wilson told VideoGamer that the next class it announces will be "quite similar" to a previous class and promised that Blizzard will consider bringing back old classes in future expansions to the game. So you can rule out ranger and paladin. until the expansion at least. Edited October 8, 2009 by NuRayZ Quote
MajorMajorMajor Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Given the fact that that statement was made in 2008 and the face blizzard will not make up their mind until 2 weeks after the game has come out, I would say that it is all up in the air still. Could or could not be a ranger. Quote
BallzinurJawz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I could still be a ranger...just not called a ranger or an amazon or somethin like that... I was thinking maybe they would do like an elven class which would be based on dexterity like a ranger would be except maybe it would have some other skills so it doesnt have to be a ranger. Quote
MajorMajorMajor Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 it will be human bro none of that WoW-ish elf *edited* Quote
newrayz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 yeah no elves. diablo is humans vs. demons/monsters/crazytentacle*edited* closest thing to elves are in Act5 of the expansion. Those *edited* teleporting big eared *edited*s that shoot elemental *edited* at you. i hate those things. :x a thief would be a good alternative to ranger. what about a bombardier? like an explosives specialist of sorts. adds a range class to the list and i think it still may work as far as the era goes. here are some funny and interesting fan classes from diii.net: My favorite: Flagellant - emo dude/dudette. Hurts himself for repentance and fights evil. reminds me of the antag from Da Vinci Code. lol Surprisingly no word on a Horadric. Only thing that comes close would be "the ancient". Quote
newrayz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Check this out!!! So apparently there has been some hint at a Horadrim Warrior. the last class they are going to release was actually the first class, and one that they have been thinking about for a long time. +1000000 to major and I for being either crazy genius, psychic, or both. YouWinGameOver Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 That is *edited*ing amazing. I need a computer to *edited*ing play this *edited*...maybe if i start saving now into my 401k they will be done with it by the time im 55 and I will be able to take out the cash. Quote
MajorMajorMajor Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 A Horodrium Warrior makes me JIZZ IN MY PANTS Quote
BallzinurJawz Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) I would actually be dissapointed if the last character was a horadrim warrior...if you look at the skill tree for the wizard...there is already a melee spell hybrid combination on the list of chars. I am still gonna be expecting some type of ranged dueler. Like I suggested before...maybe a aura/melee/ranged combination such as a paladin is going to be the most likely scenario for this last character. EDIT: I know the last char isn't gonna be a paladin...I was just saying it would be paladin-esque Edited October 12, 2009 by BallzinurJawz Quote
MasterP Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I imagine they'll release expansion packs that add aditional characters. I'm almost expecting Diablo3 to be Blizzard's Guild Wars version of WoW with semi-frequent expansions. Quote

I'm almost expecting Diablo3 to be Blizzard's Guild Wars version of WoW with semi-frequent expansions. that would be okay as long as they don't charge monthly fee to play AND release a million expansions every quarter. *edited* those fat cats. MasterP Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Guild Wars had no monthly fee... Quote
newrayz Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) Guild Wars had no monthly fee... i know just saying if they added one plus the expansions. would be fail. Edited October 13, 2009 by NuRayZ Quote
